Passport
As well as for your visit to the Algarve check that your passport covers you for getting home. As a rule
of thumb we recommend that you should not look to travel with less than 6 months' validity.
Medical
Portugal has reciprocal health agreements with the UK and you can obtain free cover by applying for
a European Health Insurance Card ( EHIC ). Application forms can be picked up from your local Post Office.
