Monte Gordo is an established holiday resort located 50km east of Faro International Airport in the East Algarve region of Portugal. The climate in the region and that of neighbouring Costa de la Luz is conducive to year round golf and many other sporting or recreational activities. The resort of Monte Gordo is set amidst the natural surroundings of a pine forest which forms part of the Castro Marim and Vila Real De Santo Antonio Nature Reserve.
